The Rendon Group orchestrated the dedication of Boston's newest and most prominent landmark, The Leonard P. Zakim/Bunker Hill Bridge. Named for the late civil rights champion and activist Lenny Zakim and the Bunker Hill Patriots, the bridge hosted more than 2,00 people in an unforgettable and moving event.

The dedication day began at 8:00 AM at Paul Revere Park where 1,000 high school students from across the Commonwealth gathered for a youth summit. At the conclusion of the summit, they marched from Paul Revere Park up onto the bridge to join more than 1,000 invited guests already assembled in their seats. Featured speakers at the event included United States Senator John Kerry, Governor Jane, Swift, Federal Highway Administrator Mary Peters, Lenny Zakim's wife Joyce Zakim, and a performance by rock-n-roll legend Bruce Springsteen.

To produce all logistics for both events, The Rendon Group worked with local and state officials to coordinate the transportation and security of more tha n2,000 guests and recruited a team of 250 volunteers to help execute the multi-tiered production.
