Vice President of Electronic Media

John
Carley brings more than 20 years of experience as a producer,
writer, and project manager to The Rendon Group Productions (TRGP),
and has been with the company since 1991. He has worked on a wide
range of projects since starting at TRGP. John has written,
produced, and won a number of Emmy Awards for various campaigns and
television spots, showcasing the ability to convey a client’s
message to the public. During his time at the Rendon Group he has
been screamed at by actress Kirstie Alley, had Patrick Stewart
profusely apologize for changing three words in a script, corrected
Walter Cronkite on proper pronunciation, and once got to tell the
President of the United States what to do.
John is responsible for overseeing all electronic media production at the Rendon Group, but is happiest when he is working in the field or in an edit suite. He has worked every aspect of production, from serving as executive producer to stringing audio cable. He works closely with team members to package the best media possible for the client.
In addition to the numerous Emmy nominations mentioned earlier, John has also won some awards including Tellys for New England Toyota Dealers, the Governor's Highway Safety Bureau and the Connecticut State Lottery; ITVA Silver Slate Awards for a portrait of Lynn Heritage State Park; and a Special Merit Award from The Creative Club of Boston. He also won a national writing award for comedy during a series of productions as a freelancer for National Public Radio. Mr. Carley holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Public Management from the University of Massachusetts.
