Rendon Group (TRG) is a full service strategic communications firm
with offices based in Boston, Massachusetts.
The company stems from the vision of two brothers - John and Rick Rendon. John and Rick started their careers as Democratic political operatives and campaign consultants. Since it’s founding in 1981, The Rendon Group has expanded from three employees to a over 40 employees.
The Rendon Group, Boston has a full team of account specialists. Members of our staff are fully versed in public relations, marketing, special events, print and electronic media, and strategic communications consulting. Our account specialists are well-rounded and their unique backgrounds allow them to bring new perspectives and ideas to our work.
The Rendon Group Productions (TRGP) is also an important facet of our Boston-based office. Our clients benefit from the fact that we have an in-house electronic media production team as part of our organization. TRGP utilizes state of the art cameras and editing suites to ensure the highest quality of video. Our Emmy award winning production team has access to four Final Cut Pro suites and two AVID Unity suites.
We have built an impressive network of clients. Over the years we have overseen projects such as the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge Dedication, created a global youth-oriented public diplomacy program entitled, “Empower Peace;” produced massive logistical undertakings such as the Polar Express New England, and worked for various clients ranging from governmental agencies to corporations and non-profits.
Philanthropy has always been at the core of the Boston office. TRG has been developing innovative social campaigns for decades. One of our most successful endeavors was Team Harmony. This youth campaign annually brought together over 14,000 middle and high school students to promote diversity and harmony in local schools and communities and featured prominent personalities from the sports, entertainment and political spectrums. Team Harmony has featured the likes of President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Clinton, Justin Timberlake and Jewel.
Team Harmony was just the beginning of our success in organizing youth campaigns. After September 11, 2001 Rick Rendon recognized a growing trend towards misconceptions of the Middle Eastern world. In response, Rick founded a worldwide youth program, Empower Peace. This unique program aims to bridge the gap between Muslim and Arab teens by pairing them up with their youth counterparts in the United States. Since the program was created, Empower Peace has connected over 60,000 students around the globe.
